Build for Impact: Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta (On-Campus Project)

Furniture Bank: This year’s on-campus project will benefit the Atlanta Metro Furniture Bank. The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta provides free furniture and household goods to individuals and families moving out of homelessness, living with HIV/AIDS, or fleeing domestic violence. On June 18th, a devastating fire destroyed the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta’s warehouse, along with their entire inventory of household furnishings, including more than 800 mattresses and 500 dressers, all of which were earmarked for individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness and others in urgent need. Volunteers will work in teams to build furniture to be donated to the Furniture Bank.
