About
OwlSwap, a sustainable clothing initiative at KSU, is providing a chance for KSU students to try a new upcycling project! This volunteer opportunity with OwlSwap will take place on Thursday, Oct. 16th from Noon-1:30pm in 130 Willingham Hall.
Volunteers will be using t-shirt yarn to make lanyards and bracelets! Make some for our initiative and some to take home!
OwlSwap Closet is a resource that provides all KSU students, faculty, and staff with free access to professional attire for academic and employment opportunities as well as everyday clothing. Not only does it give everyone a chance to acquire new-to-you clothing, but it also encourages sustainable consumption.
The closet is made possible thanks to the generous support and donations from the KSU community. Along with the OwlSwap closet, we also provide professional wardrobe support Dress for Success Program. With our partnership with Career Planning, we help students become more prepared for work environments.
Important - Signing in and getting credit for your volunteer hours - When you arrive, check in with a team member & we will have you sign-in so we can log your volunteer hours accurately.
