About
Come join the ESP Bowling for ten weeks from 3:45pm to 6pm every Thursday, starting Thursday, January 22nd at Showtime Bowl! Our bowling program provides purposeful and fun recreation for our participants to learn new skills, gain confidence, strengthen their abilities, and make lasting friendships.
Training: Monday/Wednesday Volunteers will have training on Wednesday, January 14th and Tuesday/Thursday Volunteers will have training on Thursday, January 15th from 3:45-6:00PM. Mandatory training will be held at the ESP Building (189 VFW Dr. Watkinsville, GA). Please prioritize in person training, attending either day you are able to, with preference on January 15th. You do not need to come to both days. This is not where bowling will occur for the 10 week session. Bowling will begin January 22nd with the participants at Showtime Bowl.
Important note: To accept this position, you must commit to all available weeks of this program. You will see these dates after clicking the register button, and then you should click next to all Tuesday dates shown. This allows us to partner you with a participant, then allows that participant to count on you to be their "buddy" every week! If you can no longer attend, please unregister to allow someone else a spot.
Age Limit: Volunteers should be age 14 or older.
In-person training attendance is preferred. If you need virtual training you must provide a reason (email kate@espyouandme.org). Once the virtual training option is recorded I will link it HERE. If it isn't here then I haven't finished it yet. Thank you for your patience!
