Volunteer opportunity open to Purple Pantry volunteers that have attended a Purple Pantry Volunteer Orientation in the fall 2025 semester. If you sign up without attending an orientation, then you will be removed from the volunteer shift. Volunteers will assist shoppers, help keep our space neat and clean, and complete other tasks as needed.

Hello Purple Pantry,
My name is Gavin, and I am a student at East Carolina University in the Experiential Leadership “Teams in Action” course this semester. As part of my teams Social Responsibility Project, we are required to partner with a nonprofit organization, identify a real need within the organization, and complete a hands‑on project that provides meaningful value. We are currently exploring potential organizations to work with, and your organization stood out to me because of the impact you have in the community.
