A.B. Dittmar Park - Spring 2026 It's My Park Day

Join your fellow park lovers as we give back at A.B. Dittmar Neighborhood Park! We'll spend the day mulching trees, trails and removing trash from park grounds!

Volunteers get the satisfaction of giving back and of course, an amazing It's My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artists!

We will provide tools and gloves; it's recommended to bring a water bottle and wear work appropriate clothing. We'll meet under the blue tent near bleachers on the field.

Some notes for our volunteers:

• For those interested in picking up trash: Please make sure to wear appropriate clothing to protect yourself. We will provide gloves and trash pickers.
• POISON IVY ALERT: We are aware there is poison ivy back in the trails. If you know you are allergic to or have a bad reaction to poison ivy, it is suggested that you wear long sleeves and long pants to protect yourself or stay on the main park grounds.

As a volunteer perk, wear your It's My Park Day t-shirt or mention your registration with one of our local Giveback Partners and enjoy a treat for giving back to our parks! To see the current list of Giveback Partners, visit https://austinparks.org/impd/.

Thank you so much for joining us on It's My Park Day! We hope to see you soon!
