Festival Beach Food Forest Path & Planting Party!

Join us for a day of fun at Festival Beach Food Forest!

On Saturday, March 7th, we are hosting a special community event to celebrate our trees, plants, pollinators, fungi, and everything in between. 

9am-12pm - Get your hands in the dirt! 

Our day will begin with an introduction to regenerative stewardship and our forest.  Throughout the morning work session participants will have the opportunity to learn about soil health, help with spring planting of seeds and baby plants, and revitalize our pathways throughout the gardens with sheet mulching techniques. 

12:00pm - 2:00pm Picnic in the Pecan Circle

Then, we will celebrate our progress and planting for the day with live music, a community meal, and family friendly activities in the pecan circle. 

We'll provide the tools. Wear clothing you're comfortable to get dirty in and a water bottle. Sign up early to get one of the prized IMPD shirts designed and provided from the amazing sponsor of this event, Austin Parks Foundation!
