1st St. Bridge Slaughter Creek Cleanup with SACA

Join us for a litter cleanup in Slaughter Creek with South Austin Creek Alliance

Accessibility notes: The cleanup focus area is on a mild slope, with a mix of paved and dirt trails.

What to bring: Closed toe shoes, a FULL water bottle, and comfortable clothing. We will provide all tools and neoprene gloves - if you have your own gardening or work gloves or a preferred brand of bug spray you are invited to bring them. 

Where to park: On the streets Near Community Park (333 Camperdown Elm, Austin, TX, 78748)

Where we will begin: We will meet at the gazebo about a 500 ft walk into the Community Park. From there we'll walk to the trails to get to the bridge underneath S. 1st street on the north side of Slaughter Creek. 

Youth Volunteers: All volunteers under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must register and attend with the youth volunteer. Independent registrations submitted by minors are not permitted.
