SUMMER 2026: Week 2 Day Camp

Please read the volunteer requirements and details below BEFORE signing-up. You are signing up for June 15th - June 19th, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Volunteers must be 14 years old. Volunteers over 18 years old must pass a background check. 

VOLUNTEER DETAILS:

• When signing up to volunteer, you are committing to be paired one-on-one with a participant with a disability for ALL 5 days (Monday - Friday) from 8:00am - 4:00pm (participants arrive at 9 am and leave at 3 pm).
• Each volunteer gets placed in a camper's unit (Oldest, Middle, & Youngest) for the duration of the week. If you volunteer multiple weeks, you may switch units based off of the sign-ups for that week. Age groups are based off of the participants age, but we do our best to place the volunteers in the most appropriate group.
• esp Rome holds Day Camp at Georgia Highlands College (Rome-Floyd Campus). 
• You MUST attend volunteer training prior to being a volunteer at camp! Our volunteer training will be on WEDNESDAY, MAY 27TH from 8:00am to 3:30pm at GHC. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Rome's Volunteer Coordinator Logan Brown at logan@espyouandme.org.
