About

The Colorado Springs Western Street Breakfast is back on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 — and once again, our amazing community is the heart and hands behind it! This fun‑filled tradition raises money for our local military community, brings neighbors together before sunrise, and fills downtown with the smell of pancakes and the sound of  the Range Riders riding through. With games and activities for kids of all ages, it’s a true Colorado Springs celebration — built entirely by volunteers like you.

We have several volunteer shifts available — from setting up 800 straw bales to helping with the Kiddie Dress‑Up Review. There truly is an opportunity for everyone.

We have several different shifts:

Set‑Up Shift: 12:30 a.m. – ~4:30 a.m.

Yes… right in the middle of the night! During this shift, we’ll be moving straw bales and barriers, setting up tables and signage, and getting everything ready for the event. This is a fast‑paced shift, and we typically finish well before 4:30 a.m. Heavy lifting required.

Execution Shift: 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

This is when the breakfast comes to life. We need cashiers, suppliers, runners, syrup pourers, helpers for the Kiddie Corral, and more.

Clean‑Up Shift: 9:00 a.m. – ~11:00 a.m.

Once the event wraps up, we’ll restack straw bales and barriers for pickup, collect trash, and help restore the area.
