About

The Community Closet, located at the Family Success Center, provides a welcoming and dignified space where families can shop for free for daily living necessities. By offering these items in a supportive environment, the Community Closet helps reduce financial strain, strengthens family stability, and ensures that community members have reliable access to the essentials they need — along with renewed hope for the future.

All items offered in the Community Closet are generously donated through the Bargain Box, a charitable thrift store operated by the nonprofit B‑COS We Care. Through this partnership, the Community Closet ensures families have access to a diverse selection of quality items. This “shop for free” model supports dignity, reduces stigma, and empowers families to make choices that best serve their household.
