Call for Student Volunteers: Navigate Training Sessions

We are looking for tech-savvy students to help our staff master Navigate, our new platform for course planning and registration! If you’re comfortable navigating your Student Portal and want to help improve the campus experience, we need your help.

In these sessions, you will be paired with a staff member to walk through real-world scenarios, such as planning future terms and registering for classes.

Student Requirements

To participate, you must meet the following criteria:

• Access: Must be able to log in to your Student Portal and Student Account independently (no assistance provided).

• Punctuality: You must arrive at least 10 minutes early to ensure a smooth start.

• Commitment: You must remain present for the entire session to ensure staff members complete their training modules.

• Attitude: Since our staff are learning a brand-new system, we ask for your patience and cooperation throughout the process.

What You’ll Be Doing

Instead of using the traditional Student Planning or Owl Link tools, you will guide a staff member through the Navigate interface. You'll help them practice:

• Building a multi-term course plan.

• Registering for upcoming classes.

• Navigating the student dashboard.
