About

Our annual, university wide Juneteenth Festival will take place in the Student Rec Center, Mac Gym. This celebration of the federal holiday, Juneteenth, was first requested by the KSU President in the Summer of 2022. This event includes live performances by phenomenal Black Artists, appearances by KSU's Black orgs and community organizations, Black owned vendors, food, and more.

All in the KSU community are encouraged to attend this event. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and engage not only through arts and food, but also by way of 6ft led signs as well as trivia offered throughout the event. Also during this event, students will be able to view the Juneteenth Exhibit created by the history and archives students and participate in educational activities.
