Shoal Creek Cleanup @ Beverly Sheffield Park

Join Keep Austin Beautiful at Beverly S. Sheffield Northwest District Park to clean up litter from in and around Shoal Creek and learn more about how you can protect your local creek!

We will provide cleanup supplies on site as well as sunscreen and bug spray. We will meet in the center of the park by the lake before heading to the creekside - look for the Keep Austin Beautiful event table and signage!

Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and durable clothing as the terrain may be rough in some areas. Conditions may be wet as we will be working along the creek; please dress appropriately!  Long pants and a hat are also recommended. Be sure to bring a full water bottle and stay hydrated. When arriving at the park, please remember to hide any valuables and lock your car before checking in. Parking is available in the lots on site within the park. Carpooling is highly encouraged!

Youth Volunteers: All volunteers under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must register and attend with the youth volunteer. Independent registrations submitted by minors are not permitted.

A NOTE ON SAFETY: We encourage you to “See and Be Seen!” Be mindful of your fellow volunteers and maintain awareness of your surroundings at all times. Dial 911 in case of emergency.
