About

Curious about who's been creeping around your backyard at night? Do you run across some random poop/scat when you're walking on the trails? Who is fishing and bathing in the creek? Are coyotes going to eat my toddler? What's the difference between a beaver and a nutria? How often does the city answer snake calls?

If you have been hankering for answers to these kinds of questions, we have just the walk for you! Come join us this Sunday morning, from 9-11 at Mary Moore Searight Park. We will be joined by City of Austin Wildlife Services Specialist, Rufus Raxlen, who will answer all these questions and more while also providing helpful safety tips regarding our urban wildlife neighbors!

This is a family friendly event. Please bring a reuseable water bottle and dress accordingly for the weather. Sturdy shoes are a must and hats are also a good idea.

SACA may have some sunscreen and bug spray available although we do ask that you bring your own if you have allergies or your own preferences.
