About
We will be training new volunteers while we continue our invasive ligustrum girdling activities in the Walnut Creek Watershed. We will demonstrate girdling using easy to find tools and briefly demonstrate use of the Extractagator and a specialized Girdling tool.
Bring your own water. Wear clothes to work in the woods and minimize contact with insects and plants: long sleeves and long pants, clothes toed shoes, hat recommnended. Consider bug spray also. If you have sturdy gloves that fit well, please bring your own. We will have tools and gloves to provide to volunteers.
Please note there are NO bathrooms on site, so plan accordingly.
