Boggy Creek Cleanup @ Parque Zaragoza

What to bring: Closed toe shoes, a FULL water bottle, and comfortable clothing. We will provide all tools and neoprene gloves - if you have your own gardening or work gloves or a preferred brand of bug spray you are invited to bring them. 
If you're getting in the creek with us, it might be wet and/or muddy, so prepare for that! If you're not comfortable in the creek, there is also an opportunity for cleaning up around the edges of the creek and in the park.

Where to park: Limited parking is available in the lot in front of the recreation center.

Where we will begin: Meet up in front of the Zaragoza Rec Center on Gonzales St. 

Youth Volunteers: All volunteers under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must register and attend with the youth volunteer. Independent registrations submitted by minors are not permitted. 

Pet Policy: For safety and liability reasons, pets are not permitted at volunteer events. Service animals are welcome.

A NOTE ON SAFETY: We encourage you to “See and Be Seen!” Be mindful of your fellow volunteers and maintain awareness of your surroundings at all times. Dial 911 in case of emergency.
