Kerry gave to Keep Austin Beautiful Day
Unfortunately we attended, but the event was cancelled due to rain
Greg gave to Keep Austin Beautiful Day
It was lightly raining until about ten minutes before the event start (1:00PM). EVERY ONE of the volunteers (6 people, including myself) showed up...BUT THE ORGANIZER DID NOT! Apparently unbeknownst to all of us, she CANCELLED about an hour before the event...we discovered this when after 15 minutes she didn't show up, someone checked online. We are all busy people who do not check our email every 15 minutes, so we just arrived AS PROMISED! Since we had no supplies (trash bags, rubber gloves, trash pickers, etc.) we all gave up and went back home. MOST DISAPPOINTING! Do we still get a T-shirt to commemorate our WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT??????
