2021 Leadville Trail 100 RUN

Was going great until I was helping control a vendor tent that wasn't weighted down, a large support fell on my right hand.

My friend Tron Welch also was a volunteer today and would like to donate his hours to me. I have been trying to get into the race for 5 years..... please, please, draw me.

I think a short debrief with us prior to the shift would have helped us be better prepared for the questions we were getting from athletes. It felt a bit unorganized at first and we had to figure some things out on the fly. Overall though it was a good event and I was able to jump in and help out the expo crew on various needs as the day went on and we got a little slower at registration.

Has an absolute blast. Wife (Courtney Porter) came with me and volunteered, too.
