Garden & Orchard Workday

Although it was definitely an amazing experience. It was extremely hot & there was no water. The water that was offered was from a water hose & had particles in it. It also was not cold & tasted really weird.

It was fun helping out we put down dirt and mulch to prepare to plant stuff

Land scape fabric was put down and raised beds placed on top for one row. We were able to fill up garden beds with soil and mulch. Most of the other rows were tilled/raked to produce hills and the walkways up to the hills were covered in landscape fabric. Everyone worked up a good sweat!

Volunteering at the Community Garden Center was a great opportunity! The people there were so nice and the teamwork demonstrated within the group was amazing to be a part of.
