The Alpha Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated centralized at North Carolina A&T State University put on a service event that collected donated school supply items for an elementary school in Greensboro, NC. The chapter members chose to receive these items in front of the Alumni center, which was perfect event wise due to its great lighting and perfect birds eye view from very far spaces on campus. The Alumni center also kept in mind the issue that is the pandemic that we are. This let me and other students donate without having to worry about transmission of body fluids or any thing else thats kept behind the mask at a safe six feet distance. I applaud the chapter for this as well as other events since programming has been an issue for several other orgs excited to work with the ladies in the future. I included a picture of me with some of the items I donated on behalf of me and my hometown org which is called West Coast Aggies. This picture was first added to use as promotion for the event and celebration for our contribution.
