The Cape Carteret ABE was an amazing opportunity to spend my Spring Break in service with wonderful community partners! I learned about efforts to preserve and restore NC coastal environments and participated in bagging oyster shells for a living shoreline, marking bird nesting areas, picking up litter along beaches, and assisting in a community garden.
