It was a very eye-opening experience. I was surprised to work alongside people who were not all volunteers. I did not realize how much organization and planning go into food pantry operations. They have to take note of previous pallets to provide variety and rotate stock. I loved being able to see the large amounts of donations in the facility. It proved that there is still hope for society.
