Starry Night 2024 // Volunteer Registration

Very well organized event. The Kings and Queens had so much fun, especially dancing. DJ was terrific. Would be nice to have bottles of hand sanitizer available throughout the event. Also, the photographer on the red carpet did not hear the "absolutely no flashes" when one queen was about to walk down and started taking pictures. We stopped her but this could have turned into a really dangerous situation. Should make sure there is better communication like directly walking up to the photographer to make sure she understands and have someone walk down the red carpet before the person goes letting everyone on the red carpet know as well because I don't think people at the end of the line heard the request.

The time and care put into this event for our special friends was beautiful. It’s so great to be involved in a wonderful evening to celebrate them for who they are, a place where they can be seen and loved.

It was amazing and I am thankful for the experience. I look forward to doing it more often.
