Make up to - S. Boggy Creek Clean Up (Dittmar Park)

Squatters have not taken over the park next to Dittmar Rec Center. It's normal. There wasn't a lot of trash. The previous weekend, I worked at Mabel Davis Park. Squatters have been allowed to take over the park. The many volunteers worked hard to improve an area between the pond and Ben White Blvd., but there is still a disgusting disgrace there, and the work will be quickly undone. Squatters collect their stolen property and hoard the trash they collect dumpster diving. They cut down trees, trample vegetation, keep fires, abuse drugs and contaminate the water with their trash and human waste. Welcome to Austin. We collected a lot of trash even though the creek area was fairly clean. Hopefully we will go back and remove lighstrum next time.
