Overall a pretty worthwhile experience! This was my first time using GivePulse to volunteer for anything ever and it ended up being time really well spent! The other volunteers were very hospitable and the venue was really nice too, it helped to have everything located near each other in one place. If I had one critique, however, it would be that the organization of everything was a bit chaotic. I arrived and had a bit of a difficult time finding where to enter (some signage would help) and then upon entering as part of the decoration committee was left with instructions of what essentially boiled down to "just help wherever you can" which is fine enough, but for anyone that is volunteering for the first time more clear instructions and more of an understanding of what materials are present to decorate with would help-- perhaps more guidance could be given out in the email sent out to all the volunteers.
