Anadarko's Days of Caring 2017

A very inspiring event. I so appreciated that there were options for people to get help with resumes and then the subsequent job fair. Next year I would suggest a different approach to the haircuts, though. While all of the volunteers were doing their best trying to manage the number of people, it ended up being a bit difficult to figure out how to check in, when you would be called, etc.

Great opportunity to give back!

Painting rooms for the Bridge Project was great! I'm glad we could help them out by painting the Computer lab and a couple other rooms. A fresh coat of paint goes a long way in making a place feel more inviting. They do amazing work providing for those who do not have much. We were scheduled from 9-11, but if we stopped at 11, we wouldn't have had half of the room painted for them, so we stayed and got the work completed.

The Bridge Project is a great organization and we were glad to be able to help them paint their computer lab and a couple of other rooms. We really wish we could be there to see the kids faces as they arrive on Monday.
