Awesome awesome awesome!
I volunteered for the Hope Pass Aid Station in 2024. We were missing the plastic water pitchers for faster filling of runners water bottles, but those arrived with the second shift. We also needed large spoons and ladels to stir the broth, ramen and mashed potatos, but those also arrived with the second shift. We were told to conserve cups, so we tried refilling cups if runners wanted seconds which worked well, but it was really hard to monitor that when the aid station got busy. I worked the 1st shift and cups were running low when the 2nd shift arrived, so I don't know if the remaining cup supply lasted thru the evening. This is my 2nd year to Volunteer for this aid station. Ya'll do a great job, but more thorough supply list planning would help cut back on asking race day Volunteers to carry up additional items on a hike that is already challenging enough. Thank you for all you do! I will be back!
