The volunteers at the final aid station waited over an hour after set up for the first runners to come through. If possible in the future it would be nice to give those guys get an extra hour of sleep and ask them to arrive a little later! Overall I had a great time. I myself arrived a little late and so instead of doing course marshal, I got to help out at the aid station. I met great fellow volunteers, made some connections, and had fun cheering on the runners. Also the medics were very responsive. At my aid station there were two incidents and the medics responded promptly and got them the help that they needed.
It's a great experience that I did something meaningful.
