Festival Beach Food Forest Launch Party Benefit

Awesome party! Wow wow wow to be humbled and energized by the event and people who "made it happen"!

>12* hours of site prep/other tasks (schedule, front desk tasks, food forest booth) in three days prior. >6* hours of larger group meetings prior (meetings on site and at olivias). >4 hours independent work (2 t-shirts, 2 donations, + other) day of event >10* hours, day after ~3 hours

I had fun. I have also grown trees for the Forest.

I am really liking GivePulse for all the non-profits I work for. It makes managing contact and implementation super easy. Finding a volunteer coordinator for a project is a lot easier when givepulse is used as a tool.

Laidback event. Volunteer Coordination, and duties could benefit from more organization. For a smaller event like this, it's understandable. If they want to have larger events, it could potentially create stress, or upset customers if this issue is not resolved.

Besides that constructive criticism, everyone involved in making the event take place was incredibly friendly, and passionate about the cause. I felt really lucky to meet everyone, and would definitely be willing to assist at future events.
