Shift Name	Cal-Wood Education Center
Description	Project: Time to get away from the heat! Come up to the foothills and assist in much needed land management projects. Projects may include trail building/restoration, wildfire restoration, forestry management practices, facilities improvement, invasive plant management, and other natural resources related projects. Impact: Cal-Wood strives to grow the diversity and number of people who experience nature and the Colorado mountains through our environmental education programs. Volunteers are essential to Cal-Wood's mission to support in providing a safe and flourishing outdoor classroom. Requirements: Please wear closed toed shoes, long pants, and bring layers (especially rain gear/warm layers). Bring snacks, water bottle (we will have fill up stations), sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Basically anything you personally need to be comfortable outdoors. We have work gloves for volunteers to borrow. Prior to volunteering, an online waiver should be completed: Waiver Parking: Car pool if possible--parking is available but limited

Location	2282 County Road 87 Jamestown, CO We will meet in the main parking lot. Once you drive thru Cal-Wood's main gate, you will drive about a 1/2 mile. The first thing you see on the right will be the main parking lot. Cal-Wood staff will meet everyone there.
