| Description | Volunteers will create colorful 3-by-6 mats by weaving plastic grocery bags that have been cut into strips. The mats can be folded in half and rolled up, and have a shoulder strap. They are lightweight and can be used as a blanket or a sleeping mat. Mats will be donated to Safe House Outreach, to be given to our unsheltered community members. CHECK IN FOR BAGS 2 BLANKETS IS IN STUDENT CENTER EAST, BETWEEN 9:30AM and 10AM. THE SERVICE PROJECT WILL TAKE PLACE IN STUDENT CENTER EAST BALLROOMS.. |
