I was fortunate enough to pose as a patient in a disaster drill at the Dell Children's Medical Center on Tuesday. I plaid the role of a 65 year old woman who was severely burned and had objects piercing her eyes due to a "blast". This drill enabled the staff at Dell to be prepared in a case in which a large scale disaster occurs. It was an overall insightful experience.
