I had Rocky (A714807) for an overnight. Best dog ever! He is friendly with everyone and gets along great with other dogs. Very sweet, gentle, listens and wants to please.
I did clock out but this is the second time it didn't record my time. Not sure what is going on with the system. I didn't see anyone greeting people today and there weren't any staff members or staff assisting people in the kennels. I had several people asking me questions about adoption and asking to see cats and dogs. I was happy to help, but I thought that there were going to be people assigned to these tasks. I found a young girl unsupervised inside a blue dot kennel in the 100s building. After helping all these people, I only had time to walk 2 dogs today. There were many dogs, especially blue dot dogs, who had not been out at all today when I left at about 4pm.
Brought my two sons with me to walk dogs. Spent lots of time with Jewel who happens to love kids. Also spent time with George in the play yard. He loves to play fetch! And he was also great with my kids.
Met with another volunteer to walk dogs. Despite the pouring rain, all six dogs we took out had a blast running in the play yards outside the gate. Lots of dogs did not get walked this day.
