I had the opportunity to return to the same middle school I had in the past and help the students with math. We did double digit multiplying and dividing. It makes me feel great to see the progress that students are making. As someone who wants to be a teacher, I have really enjoyed this service event.

This was a very impactful and enjoyable event. I had the opportunity to volunteer with Juliet's House Rescue through the Organization called AggieTAILS. We helped Juliet's House Rescue with an adoption event. We informed people on the importance of adoption and donating food and items for dogs and cats.
We worked with the students on double digit multiplication and long division. It was exciting to me to see the growth of the students. In the beginning, they would be a little hesitant in their answers, but by the end they would be confident in there answer. It was amazing to see their confidence grow.
I volunteered for the Guilford County School District by helping out with their GCS Real World English Program. I was a caretaker. Meaning, while the adults were at the class, I did activities with the children to keep them engaged and occupied. One activity we did was we painted images for Hispanic Heritage Month. I really enjoyed this volunteering opportunity because in the future I hope to work with students.
During this math tutoring session at the middle school, we were helping students with two digit multiplication. I really enjoyed this event especially as someone who wants to be a teacher in the future.
As someone who wants to be a teacher in the future, this service event was very impactful. My peers and I had the opportunity to assist middle schoolers with their math. This service opportunity helped foster the skills I need in order to be a teacher.
I volunteered on the final day of service for this week and the event was called Little Crowns, Big Dreams. During this event we had the opportunity to work with middle school girls and teach them about hair porosity and protective styles. Additionally, we had a painting activity.
This was a very impactful service event. We had the opportunity to decorate CDs and make cards for the individuals at Maple Grove. As someone who enjoys working with senior citizens, I really enjoyed this event.
