Very appreciative riders, even when they were having multiple problems.
One rider wanted to pay me, when I told him that it was complimentary and a volunteer service, he asked if he could at least give me a hug (which he did)! Made my day.
This is a highlight of my volunteering for the year. I love to do this job.
Good coordination by Marsha and Dave - they have tons of experience and it shows.

We had a great crew again this year (see pic).
Apparently we had a large support team (18 out of planned 20) and that was surprising to other long time support riders. We definitely had enough people to cover the course. In general, I spent a lot of my time on Middle Wacker. I did not mind but would have loved to see the whole course. It was a pleasure to volunteer in this way. Thanks for the opportunity!
