I am very happy to participate in It's My Park Day, and I appreciate the opportunity to help out at the PEAS Community Farm! This is a wonderful family friendly event, where we learn about gardening and plants and, this year, we had the added benefit of learning about bees with the BEVO Beekeeping group from UT Austin. There are always a variety of tasks available to do, so people can choose what they would like to do to help care for the gardens. Thank you so much to the organizers - you are awesome! This farm provides such a wonderful experience for this elementary school and for others involved in the PEAS program, and it is a great part of It's My Park Day!.

This was a wonderful opportunity for volunteering - very well organized event, friendly and knowledgeable staff to help us out, delicious food from Snooze, and a beautiful garden to tend!! It is such a wonderful program (PEAS) and it is great that this was included in the excellent event, It's My Park Day! I am so glad that students are being able to experience working in this community garden and tasting the fruits of their labor!! Thank you so much for inviting us to help out!!
