Samvabi gave to Pease Park Conservancy
Today, we watered trees using 14 buckets filled up twice, each tree got two buckets or approximately 40 gallons of water. There was a golf cart that took us from the creek, where we filled up the water, to the location where the trees were. The organizer said that there are usually pumps but that they were broken. Since the event is in the morning, the weather was not too bad and it was overall an enjoyable volunteering experience. I would recommend wearing comfortable closed-toed shoes because you will have to hike a little bit with water.
