Verb Washington

I have volunteered with the Bike Support Team for the past four years. Each year is a little different, and this year was no exception. We added support for the Kids Tri and the Super Sprint, so I worked those as well. It was inspiring to watch so many first-time triathlete test themselves, and to see the kids figure out what all the fuss was about. Everyone was so supportive of the athletes. Great event.

Great experience and team. A little expensive for long-distance volunteering; would appreciate advice or assistance on lodging/parking.
