With Longhorns Lights Out Program, I was able to help conserve energy at UT by going to different buildings on campus and shutting off any lights that did not to be kept on. We also wrote our results in a survey so that they program can better plan out what areas to concentrate more time and people at and what areas not to go at all.

With HOPE Austin, I was able to volunteer at an event for families who have last their children in their fight against cancer. We helped serve food and drinks, as well as with any other item they needed help with. We also stayed and helped clean up at the end. For affirmation of these hours, email Brandi Monene at brandilyn22@utexas.edu.
HOPE Austin was able to partner a benefit dinner for Anybabycan, a nonprofit organization that helps women and children that are going through difficult situations. We helped get donations for the organization and and help clean up after the event.
HOPE Austin volunteered with Austin marathon. We were able to keep Austin green by indicating the proper way to dispose of trash to people in the marathon.
This volunteering event was a great way to learn more about compost waste as well as recycling, and also allowed the volunteers to inform the public on compost and recycling.
With my ULN group, we made warm hot coco and handed it out to students passing by to spread holiday cheer from ULN.
Pulling for Pink Collected money for BCRB which is a breast cancer research facility in Austin. I volunteered through HOPE Austin. We were able to collect large sums of donations for this non-profit organization.
