Lauryn Hearne

While volunteering at the Candor Volunteer Fire Department, I was able to help prepare for the towns annual Christmas tree lighting, the towns appreciation meal that was held at the fire department, and help clean the fire department.

My peers and I were able to tell others about studying abroad and promote the HHP study abroad program and just studying abroad in general. We got many students signatures who were interested so we can reach out to them to give them more information.

I helped clean the bays and the fire trucks to help them get ready for their next call.
