"Help promote a healthy plant community and a sustainable forest in the Urban Food Forest at browns Mill. Your work will improve habitat for humans who use the greenspace for recreation and wildlife that call it home. Activities include hand-pulling and cutting invasive plants such as English ivy, Chinese privet, and kudzu in a densely wooded area off trail."
“Care for young street and park trees in Downtown Atlanta to help them thrive. Activities include weeding and refreshing the mulch around trees, staking, watering, and picking up litter. This project meets at our operations facility and then the group rides together in a Trees Atlanta truck to the work site downtown.” I enjoyed this experience and I had fun taking care of the plants down town. I rate the overall experience a 10/10.
“Make a difference in our community by caring for our forest. Activities include removing invasive plants such as English ivy, Chinese privet, and kudzu from Choosewood Park. Our goal is to promote a healthy plant community and a sustainable forest in this special green space.” I had a good experience here and learned some important things about invasive species in Atlanta. I rate the experience overall a 10/10.
Activities include removing invasive plants such as English ivy, Chinese privet, and bamboo from Kirkwood Urban Forest. Overall, my experience was enjoyable and everyone was super helpful when planting the trees in Kirkwood because it was my first time. I give the experience a 10/10.
