I cleaned up the street near the stadium and walked near Preeminent Pointe to clean up trash. In the end, we threw our trash bags away and took a picture together.
I helped set up snacks and participated in workshops by listening to guest speakers. I also helped out when it was time to put up extra snacks. I engaged with other participants by talking about financial literacy such as buying property and having a tenant live in your space as a second income.
Ms.Tanya Dixon asked me to participate in Bessemer elementary's Career Day. I completed two 30 minute presentations to 5th graders and 2nd graders about how I am in school to become a journalist. I had an icebreaker where they had to come up with their own headlines using pictures. Afterward, we discussed what's news and how the journalism industry offers different avenues for writers, artists, and marketers.
