I ended up trying to hand out socks and shirts because all of the kiosks were taken. There were so many volunteers that it was hard to make myself useful at times. It was a good problem because no athletes ever had to wait long.

Updating the layout slightly to distribute shirts (unisex especially) closet to where the most common last names are, or maybe having two racks, would spread the workload. As it was a couple of volunteers camped in front of the rack and were able to care for the vast majority of shirt/sock distribution.

All of the volunteers were pleasant and worked well to take care of the athletes. Overall a very enjoyable experience and I’ll volunteer again at a Lifetime event.
