I had a great time volunteering again this year! I unpacked medals and was a runner for giving Ken and Merilee medals when they were running low. I also got to give medals to finishers when it got busy or they went past Ken and Merilee. It was an amazing feeling getting to hang medals and congratulate the riders. At the end, I said bye to Merilee and thanked her for everything and got a hug! I'll be back again next year for my third year of volunteering!

When I was volunteering Saturday with C4, I was speaking to the people in the medical tent and told them I was a NICU nurse and was thinking of signing up for the medical tent but wasn't sure I would be accepted. But the woman I spoke with said they would've absolutely asked me to volunteer and told me to volunteer at the medical tent next year, which I will probably do!
