My experience at Guilford Preparatory Academy has been incredibly meaningful and affirming. Being in a hands-on learning environment allowed me to work directly with students, teach math content, and support their academic growth in real time. I gained valuable experience breaking down concepts in ways that were engaging and accessible, while also encouraging students to build confidence in their abilities. Most importantly, being surrounded by a positive, supportive environment showed me the impact that patience, encouragement, and consistency can have on student success. This experience strengthened my passion for teaching and reinforced the importance of creating a space where students feel supported, motivated, and empowered to grow.

It was nice to see people out there and wanted to get their blood pressure due to problems they had. It was a great experience to connect with folks and practice with everyone !

It was a great experience to connect with other people and cheer for everyone that walked !

It was great time to talk to another organizations and also kids that was interested in sign language !
