On March 6th, I volunteered at the Maryland Food Bank in Baltimore, MD, amongst other volunteers. I made numerous boxes so that non-perishable items could be placed in them and shipped to those in need. I greatly enjoyed this experience, as I always do with the Maryland Food Bank, and it was fun to get to know the other volunteers!

I had the pleasure of volunteering for the FIRST Lego League Season Kickoff event. As a volunteer, I served as a moderator and helped monitor the Zoom chat for any questions, notify participants of reminders, and ensure that everything ran smoothly. In addition to being a moderator, it was awesome to see all of the young students be so engaged in FIRST robotics and STEAM overall!
I had a fantastic time helping the warehouse sort and pack meat products at the Maryland Food Bank. It means a lot to me to make any type of impact when it comes to assisting the less fortunate.
Attended a biweekly facilitation meeting to discuss upcoming events for the semester.
On February 20th, the Dowdy Outreach Program held a shadowing day where several local high school students could shadow different college courses and participate in several college preparatory workshops. I had an amazing time getting to know the different students and learning about their different passions.
Virtual Session - During the virtual session, I met several local high school students and presented presentations on how to best prepare for college and how to apply for scholarships.
