I attended and participated in the Alzheimer's Walk for community service in Lauber Park Greensboro, NC. During this experience I listened to inspirational speeches about the affects this disease has on others, supported those around me, and walked miles to show my support for those affected by this disease.

Impacts
For this community service activity, me and a couple of other students went to the Greensboro Children's Museum to volunteer. As a group, we helped to clear out the museum's garden to make it better for the children. We received a tour of the museum and also helped create props for the "Marketplace" inside of the museum. The event organizer was NCAT's honors program, and it was a great experience.
For this community service opportunity, I donated school supplies to a local Elementary School in Greensboro, NC. This service activity was organized by NCAT's honors program. I donated 6 materials which counted for 4 community service hours. These materials included pencils, colored pencils, lined paper, and crayons.
