Being a site leader was a great experience. We organized clothing for kids and teens, and I always enjoy meeting new people along the way!
I attended two events that day—one at Hunter Elementary School and the other for Healthy Kids Day. Both events provided nutritional information and shared resources available to the community. At the Healthy Kids Day event, we also did exercises with the kids to help them get active and engage with their physical health.

This is where we help distribute the seeds and connect with the community. It was wonderful to see families coming in, excited to grow their own plants and transform their gardens. I assisted people in finding the seeds they needed and enjoyed chatting with them about their plans for their gardens. It was such a rewarding experience to do this alongside friends, and I loved discovering a new, vibrant community here in Greensboro.

It was great being able to go out into the Greensboro community and play games with the people in the living center they seemed like they really enjoyed the social interaction and it was nice to see them excited to play the games with us
