Dillen Swain

My last day was a little bittersweet but I can say that I got a lot out of volunteering and I'm gonna miss doing it.

I like seeing my projects come together and I feel very proud of myself. And that makes me want work harder and do even more.

The overall environment is very positive and I always feel welcomed and appreciated whenever I come in. I like seeing my work get good feedback so I know I'm on the right track. Because I have to make activities for all ages it's challenging me to widen my thought process.

Brainstorming and coming up with fun ideas and activities was a fun way to use all of my creative juices. Being able to find something of all ages can enjoy was a little tough, but once you have an idea it was easy to figure out all of the moving parts and what's gonna work.

The first day was a really good introduction into the environment. It was nerve wracking in the beginning but I slowly got comfortable. I'm excited to continue and create some fun activities and stretch my creativity.
