This was a great experience overall. I had so much fun meeting all of the kids. Being able to get close to a few of them warmed my heart. On my last day, I met a boy who blew my mind. He was so intelligent and sweet and made me sure that this whole experience was very worth the time and effort. Hopefully I’ll be back again sometime and get to see how much they’ve grown. :)
I helped with math and played lots of games! It was fun; as always.
We played volleyball, 4-square, the Service League brought food, and we drew with chalk outside! It was so much fun. I also showed them how to draw mazes with chalk! The kids are always so great.
The Cartersville Service League came to bring pizza to the kiddos. I played games with them after they ate! Mercy and Michael were so sweet :)
My boyfriend came with me to volunteer and we had a great time! We all played basketball and football in the gym :)
